Shinji turns out to be Shingo's younger brother. Shinji secretly read his brother's diary and learned about Haruhiko's relationship with his brother. Haruhiko becomes conscious of Shinji while immersing himself in the memories of those days, but Shinji has a girlfriend, Azusa.
