Lidia was forced to exile from Argentina after the military dictatorship that ruled the country at that time tried to kidnap her and make her disappear. Pregnant with her only daughter, Valeria, she managed to escape to Spain. Forty years later, she receives a summons from the Argentine Ministry of Justice to testify in the trial for the kidnapping and disappearance of Oscar Medina, her boyfriend at the time and Valeria's father.
