When an unplanned pregnancy leads television anchorwoman Lu Yun to seek an abortion, she's driven to create a special investigative report about Chinese women's attitudes toward premarital sex, pregnancy and violence against women. Yuan Xie appears as Lu's boyfriend and Xuejian Li is the reporter's boss in controversial (and often censored) director Zhuangzhuang Tian's daring film about social reform and personal responsibility.
