Philip Lajaunie took Anthony Bourdain to Tokyo when opening a new restaurant in Japan, and that trip inspired Anthony to write "Kitchen Confidential". Philip joined Anthony to Viet Nam and Cambodia in episodes of "A Cook's World Tour" (Food Network), Viet Nam and New York in episodes of "No Reservations" (Travel Channel), and Myanmar for "Parts Unknown" (CNN) first episode.
