R.T. Thorne

R.T. Thorne is an award-winning Canadian filmmaker known for his eclectic storytelling. A versatile director, screenwriter, and producer, Thorne first debuted on the music video scene over a decade ago. His indie feature film, "40 Acres," starring Danielle Deadwyler, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2024, receiving critical acclaim and earning a spot among TIFF's top 10 films. The film also had international premieres at the Red Sea Film Festival and SXSW, achieving a "Fresh" certification on Rotten Tomatoes.
