Imogen Moorsom

Imogen started her brass journey after taking classes on the cornet in primary school. After moving to Salisbury Cathedral School to become a chorister, she decided to switch to the horn. At 13, she gained a place at Wells Cathedral School as a specialist musician, where she studied with Simon de Souza. At Wells, she continued to have a passion for singing, singing regularly in school choirs. This provided her with the opportunity to tour to Italy and Barcelona to take part in international choir competitions, and she also travelled to Berlin with a Wind ensemble. Aside from music, she has a keen interest in science, particularly genetics, and has just completed A levels in Chemistry, Maths and Music. She enjoys climbing, reading and walking in the Dorset countryside.
