People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, laureate of international competitions (including the competition named after M. Kallas in Athens, where he became the first of the men to win the Grand Prix, 1995). He graduated from the Ufa Institute of Arts (class of M. Murtazina), as well as postgraduate studies at the Moscow Conservatory with I. Arkhipova. In 1994 he made his debut at the Bolshoi Theatre. Has performed at the Mariinsky Theatre, the Metropolitan Opera, the Washington National Opera, La Scala, the Bavarian, Hamburg and Berlin State Operas, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the theaters Colon (Buenos Aires), Real (Madrid), Liceu (Barcelona), Chatelet (Paris) , Reggio (Turin), Comunale (Florence) and Massimo (Palermo), Athens Megaron and Tokyo NHK Hall.
