Flavia Furtado

Flavia Furtado Brazilian Afro-descendant film director and DJ, selected as Latin American film talent by the Berlinale of the Berlin Film Festival. She has directed and written music videos, documentaries, short films and the feature films "The Seven Mirrors" and "Treasures". She is one of the directors of the collaborative film "Fragmentum Cinema: Dreams". She has directed short documentaries such as "Chile Is Not Alone" and "Hearts United For The Revolt" screened at Anthology Film Archives and Experimental Film Society in New York. Director of the documentary series "Urgent Stories" about social issues made by women. She mixes techniques working as a VJ, video mapping artist, DJ and 3D animator in expanded cinema works and immersive concerts.
