Paris-Marae Smith is an MA student in Screen Cultures and holds a BAH in Film and Media at Queen's University. She is a director and producer through her production company, Her Siren Cinema. She has also directed and produced films showcased at multiple festivals, including The Price of Purity which won an Avant-Garde award, and A Minor Inconvenience recognized with an award for Best Actress. Additionally, she has produced films for colleagues that have been official selections and award winners at various film festivals. Paris-Marae's work as a filmmaker is deeply rooted in feminist and queer perspectives, driven by a commitment to addressing women's issues.
