Satybaldy Tekeyev

Born in 1950 in the South Kazakhstan region. Graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Cinema and Television, specializing in film and theater directing. Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Documentary director, member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He began his creative career at the Kazakhfilm studio. He shot more than 30 documentary films, many of which were awarded at international film festivals.
