Max Maclay

Max Maclay is an emerging British-Swedish filmmaker, based in Dublin. Having recently directed two shorts during his time at University College Dublin, both with student festival releases, Max is currently directing an independent short with a 2026 premiere. The project focuses on two writers reckoning with harsh truths surrounding their friendship.
