Yevhen Mazurenko

Yevhen Mazurenko was born and lives in Kyiv. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in April 2022. He served as a signalman in an infantry company and is now a photojournalist with the 4th Rapid Response Brigade of the Rubizh National Guard. In 2023, he graduated from the Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Cinema, Theater and Television with a degree in cinematography. The documentary “Perun's Flute” is his feature debut as a director and cinematographer.
