Krisztina Veronika Rády (born on August 23, 1968) was a Hungarian woman of letters, translator, organizer of artistic events and former cultural director of the Hungarian Institute of Paris. She was married to Bertrand Cantat from 1997 until her death in 2010, however the two were not together for the entirety. She gained notority after testifying for Cantat in his 2003 trial for the murder of his lover, Marie Trintignant. She committed suicide on January 10, 2010 in her home in Bordeaux, while Cantat was asleep. Her 12-year-old son found her. Cantat was investigated after news of possible abuse was revealed, however he was not charged.
