BIOGRAPHY
Roy R. Kelly was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps who served on Peleliu. Later he was awarded the Silver Star for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity while serving with Company K, Third Battalion, Fifth Marines, 1st Marine Division, in action against enemy Japanese forces on Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands, 26 May 1945.
