Hiss is a musician and singer from Azerbaijan. Born in Azerbaijan Hiss’s childhood passion to music motivated her to take her first steps when she was 14. Alongside with her school she joined to several child music competitions where she attended to her first vocal classes. In 2014 she took a break and started to her professional career and attended university. Until 2018 Roya has worked in different positions ranging from business analyst to accountant while attending to university at the same time. Finally in 2018 she decided to get back to her long-loved musical career and released her first single “Mirvarilər”. She gained significant fame right after releasing her 5th single called “İstəmirəm”. Trending on the Top 50 in Shazam Turkey for several months in a row, the song racked more than 18 million plays on Youtube and over 2 million streams on Spotify, while being playlisted in no less than 48,000 user playlists.
