Scott Mayo

Scott's drawn to hard work. On a set, or on the bike; in the cutting room, or at home over the weekend. His father instilled a belief in him that we are made to make and fix things, and find pleasure in the effort. He enjoys the effort most with willing collaborators. Two themes drive his filmmaking and influence every choice he makes. First, an unquenchable curiosity to understand the human condition and its effect on each of our lives. He can never fully solve that one. And second, a deep-seated desire to craft potent cinematic experiences that help us feel something essential.
