BIOGRAPHY

Jimmie Lee Banks was an American professional wrestler, best known for his time in Stampede Wrestling and the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF), where he performed under the ring names Kasavubu and Jojo Andrews. Trained by Johnny Powers, he began his career in 1975 and debuted in the WWWF in 1976. In Stampede Wrestling, he reached his peak by winning the Stampede Heavyweight Championship in 1978. He later wrestled in Japan with International Wrestling Enterprise and returned to the WWF in 1979. His career was cut short due to health issues related to diabetes. In 1982, he passed away at the age of 26 after suffering a heart attack during a kidney transplant surgery.
