Something hides beneath the beautiful surface of the farming community of Jordnära. When truck driver Johnny is assigned to drive two young girls there, he soon discovers that something is not right in the community.

The fenced-in community of Jordnära tries to cover its tracks after discovering an infiltrator among them. But when a suspicious accident with links to Jordnära occurs, a local police officer begins investigating. The police's interest becomes a new threat to Maud as she struggles to save her father's life's work.
