To impress Ian, Susan claims to speak Russian. However, when he asks her to be an interpreter for a dinner-party guest, she's at a loss for words.
4. Vicki Moves In
Susan isn't sure if she should put out a welcome mat when Vicki wants to move into the newly renovated apartment upstairs.
5. Halloween
Susan accepts Oliver's invitation to carve pumpkins together but ends up sabotaging the date out of fear of being hurt by him.
6. Cheerleaders
An assignment to do an article on a cheerleaders' competition doesn't make Susan jump for joy, but her attitude changes when she's asked to audition.
7. The Wish List

Upset that Oliver pays for all of their dates, Susan offers to take Oliver on a ski trip that she really can't afford. Hoping to earn money quickly, Susan buys some stock she overhears Ian discussing with his cousin. She loses a lot of money and takes a second job as a dance partner for middle-aged men.
14. I Love You
Susan becomes obsessed with Oliver's inability to say "I love you"; Ian's vineyard yields disappointing wine.
15. The Break Up
Susan worries that she might be pregnant; Oliver suggests Susan and he move in together. Oliver does not want to have a child.
16. Girls Night Out
Ian and Nate have romantic designs on Susan, who is suddenly single after dumping Oliver. Meanwhile, Susan and the girls get rowdy at a male strip club.
17. The Bird in the Wall
Susan loses her cockatoo in the wake of her break-up with Oliver; Vicki and Luis plan to embarrass Ian.
18. Susan and the Professor
Susan's relationship with her former English professor begins to drive Oliver crazy with jealousy.
19. The Reversal
To sow the seeds of reconciliation with Susan, Oliver has his vasectomy reversed. Meanwhile, Ian seeks Miranda's advice about dating black women.

In Part 1 of the series finale, Susan feels torn between Oliver's marriage proposal and a glamorous New York job offer.
21. The Finale (2)
In the conclusion of the series finale, Susan may leave a man at the altar---again---when Oliver stands in the way of her career.
