3. Baptism by Fire
Doctors with a military background bring a new intensity to Memorial Health as they care for gunshot victims, a young man who lost control of his ATV, an elderly couple involved in a car crash while on vacation and a drunk driver who ran a red light.
4. One Day at a Time
As doctors care for patient's physical needs, Father Adrian Pollard cares for their spiritual needs. A man is injured in a construction accident; a mother and son crash on the way to a family reunion and a woman is in respiratory distress.
5. St. Patrick's Day
As Savannah, GA transforms into a sea of green for St. Patrick's Day, Memorial Health awaits the casualties: a man with an aortic aneurysm; a skater with two broken wrists; an elderly woman who fell at the parade; and a partier who fell from a balcony.
6. Blink of an Eye
Memorial Health's trauma staff sees life change in the blink of an eye for a comatose car crash victim and a man with a severed spinal cord. A motorcyclist may have a ruptured spleen and a toddler has a mechanical pencil lodged in his ear.
7. One Simple Mistake
Doctors treat a woman who was engulfed in flames while working outside, a man hit by a car as he rushed to the aid of another who had been struck, a gunshot victim who arrives drunk and on cocaine and a toddler with a peanut lodged in his ear.
8. When There's Life There's Hope
Victims coming to Memorial Health include a young man with severe bleeding on his brain following a car collision with a train, a college student stabbed after a night of binge drinking and a bus full of school children followed by anxious parents.
9. The Quiet Voice Above the Din
A boy nearly severs his arm in a fall from a motor boat, a teen has a broken pelvis from a car accident, a moving accident destroys a man's left kidney, and a young girl's injuries from a car accident may have resulted from being improperly restrained.
10. See What We See
Spring fever brings serious injuries to Memorial Health including a man with head injuries following a car accident, a toddler strapped in a vehicle by only a front seat belt, two injured motorcyclists and a birth in the hospital parking lot.
