From October 1989, the two-hour drama slot on Saturdays at 10pm and 11pm was renewed as " Dramatic 22 " , which inherited the concept of " Drama 23 ". In response to this, a new drama slot was established on Mondays at 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm to handle suspense, etc., which had been broadcast on "Saturday Drama Special" etc. [Note 1] . This is the first time in 20 years that TBS will have a two-hour domestic drama slot on Mondays, since the Akira Kurosawa series, which aired a drama film as a filler program from August to September 1969 .
