The team begins a six-month expedition following lions, leopards and cheetahs in the Okavango Delta. Wildlife filmmakers follow lions, leopards, and cheetahs in Botswana's Okavango Delta.

The team continue following the Okavango Delta's lions, leopards and cheetahs. After a huge wildfire, Gordon Buchanan and Vianet Djenguet trail the lion pride's dominant males, Big Toe and Madumo, as they reinstate their burnt-out boundaries and fight with intruder males. Brad Bestelink follows Xudum the leopardess as she learns to hunt from trees after the fire wipes out her cover. And Anna Dimitriadis sticks with hungry resident cheetah Pobe day and night as she tries to hunt.

A fight with intruders leaves the lion pride males injured and the mothers with cubs vulnerable to attack. Xudum the female leopard takes risks to find a mate.

The Okavango Delta is transformed by the arrival of the flood, bringing new challenges for the big cats. The lion cubs experience water and the danger it brings for the first time.

The Big Cats 24/7 team witnesses a baby boom in the Delta. Lioness Matho must protect her cubs alone; whilst leopard mum, Xudum, reveals her newborns with danger looming nearby.

As lion numbers rise, the competition for food becomes fierce. A lioness risks her life to feed her five cubs and Xudum's newborn leopard cubs face a deadly threat.
