1. Rhino Orphanage
Brooke heads to the largest rhino orphanage in the world, which is hidden in a secret valley. She spends time with her friend Petronel, a true conservation hero, and learns what it's like to care for rhino orphans.
2. Snakes
Brooke meets Dingo Dinkleman, a snake catcher who teaches her about many different kinds of snakes. She helps catch a wild snake, swims with a python, and lies on the floor next to a deadly forest cobra.
3. Elephants
Watch as Brooke, an ardent elephant lover, joins a specialized capture team and gets fully engaged. The team darts two elephant bulls and lifts them onto huge trucks before setting off on a journey to a new landscape.
4. K9s in Conservation
Brooke learns how man's best friend is playing a very important role in protecting endangered wildlife, sees how their noses help them to find wildlife criminals, and even gets to see a simulation as free-running hounds catch a "poacher."
5. Living Deserts
Deserts are often thought of as lifeless, but Brooke heads to one of the oldest deserts on Earth and learns that life abounds. The whole system is supported by a cold ocean current that she explores, accompanied by pelicans and seals.
6. My Friend the Wildlife Vet
Brooke spends time with her friend Joel, a seasoned wildlife veterinarian. She learns and is surprised by the wide variety of both interesting and dangerous patients and projects that he has to deal with.
7. Meerkats
Brooke journeys to the Kalahari research station where she joins a team of scientists researching meerkats. She learns about how amazing these animals are, and one even uses her head as a lookout point.
8. Owls
Brooke joins a team at Freeme, a wildlife rescue facility, to catch and ring young owls before they leave the nest. Brooke learns more about these silent night-hunters, and discovers some of the perils they face.
9. Costa Rica - Rainforest
Brooke joins experts in the Costa Rican rainforest who show her a range of tiny creatures; the experts teach her how - from leaf cutter ants to spider monkeys - each creature relies on the protection of the forest.
10. Costa Rica - Sloths
Brooke has always wanted to see a wild sloth and heads to Costa Rica in search of one. She visits a sloth rescue and rehabilitation facility where she meets a team caring for a variety of animals.
