Ashley York murders her wealthy father and cleverly manipulates it to appear as though he killed himself. Dr. Sloan picks away at holes in the story, which leads him directly to Ashley.
2. Witness to Murder
Dr. Sloan takes in an abandoned young girl found at the scene of a murder, while Steve and Jesse go about tracking down the killer.
3. All-American Murder
The murder of a beautiful woman around a marine encampment raises suspicions. Dr. Sloan discovers more to her than meets the eye.
4. Murder in the Courthouse
Dr. Sloan suspects a cunning D.A. in the murder of an acquited defendant.
5. Murder on the Run (1)
A man wrongfully convicted of murder takes Dr. Sloan hostage. Dr. Sloan hears his story and works to prove the man's innocence. Jesse works feverishly to rescue Mark.

Amanda's cousin falls to his death when his motorcycle suddenly veers off the road. Amanda leads the investigation when it's discovered her cousin was drugged immediately before the accident.
10. Living on the Streets Can Be Murder
Dr. Sloan investigates a free health clinic after several homeless people turn up dead... with missing organs.
11. Murder Murder
Dr. Sloan tries to solve a friend's murder while Steve investigates the deceased's ex-wife and her identical twin sister.

A visiting surgeon must deal with his alcoholism after a fellow doctor is murdered during one of his blackouts.
13. 35 Millimeter Murder
When a photo shop erroneously sends Dr. Sloan the wrong set of photographs, he becomes embroiled in the murder investigation of an escort girl. Meanwhile, Amanda's baby is about to come to term.
14. The Murder Trade
In an episode reminiscent of Hitchcock's 'Strangers on a Train'", Dr. Sloan is drawn into a murder pact by a psychiatrist in need of money. The psychiatrist kills a woman pestering Dr. Sloan, expecting Mark to eliminate his 'problem'".
15. Mind Over Murder
Jesse is attracted to a beautiful psychic, who also happens to be the prime suspect in a murder. Amanda copes with the trials of motherhood.
16. Murder by the Book
The daughter of one of Mark's friends writes a juicy tell-all expose of the most prominent public figures. Mark takes her in after a crazed stalker starts threatening her and her co-authors.
17. FMurder
Mark investigates a perky morning television personalty for the murder of a Howard Stern-like radio host.
18. Left-Handed Murder
Dr. Sloan is the executor of his friend, Preston Michael's, estate after Michaels is found in the body of a shark. Things turn interesting after traces of poison are found in Michaels' body and three women, all apparently married to Michaels, attend the reading of the will.
