The first of two pilot episodes, taped in March 1976 but never aired on television. Written by Larry Gelbart (M*A*S*H) and starring John Ritter, the pilot co-stars Suzanne Zenor and Valerie Curtin, who were eventually replaced by Suzanne Somers and Joyce DeWitt for the series.
