Based on the novel Maigret Goes to School, the inspector travels to a seaside village near to La Rochelle to unravel a mystery involving many local characters, including the innkeeper, the postmistress and the schoolmaster.
10. A Crime for Christmas
Based on his short story Un Noël de Maigret. Father Christmas displays a strange interest in the floorboards when visiting the house across from the Maigret's.
11. The Reluctant Witness
Based on his 1959 novel. An old, dilapidated mansion is burgled and Maigret discovers a disturbing reason why a family is reluctant to talk.
12. The White Hat
A woman in the park persuades Madame Maigret to look after her baby for an hour. The Chief Inspector thinks the strange incident might be connected to his latest murder case.
13. Murder on Monday
Murders never happen on a Monday - every policeman knows that. But now it is a Monday, and there has been a murder. But who's the victim?
