Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam welcomes its newest Panchayat secretary, Sidharth, a reluctant urbanite fresh out of college. On his first day, everything that can go wrong, goes wrong and spirals into chaos as he grapples with the quirks of rural life.

A haunted tree stands between Siddarth and his CAT preparations. He tries to throw some light on this issue.
3. Oru Narkali ka itna sandai?
Siddarth gets a new office chair with wheels. This somehow affects the power dynamics of the entire village.
4. Poopunitha neerattu vizha!
While Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam celebrates a puberty function, Villagers have issues with Menstrual Health awareness slogans. This puts Siddarth in an awkward position.
5. Kudi Monitorayum kedukkum
As his friends party during the weekend Siddarth has FOMO. But a computer monitor actually goes missing.

Siddarth buys a second hand bike but runs into a new problem. When their pride is challenged the panchayat office gives an answer.

There is only 50% probability between head or tails, One name or the other, pass or fail.

As Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam celebrates the Republic day, Siddarth gets a different view of the village.
