The original Canal Brasil series is based on chronicles by writer Xico Sá. The focus is on modern relationships, taking as a starting point the love misadventures of journalist Quincas.

Quincas is open to new love after his separation from Rita. Maria Fernanda finds herself involved in a complicated situation after her personal and academic lives intertwine.

Quincas and Joana start a relationship, but the journalist tends to boycott himself. Leandro and Pietro face a crisis and only distancing can cure the couple's problems.

The episode follows the problems experienced by a young delivery man and a gypsy woman in search of a future that may not exist. Quincas goes to visit Rita at the coffee shop.

Quincas confesses his betrayal to Joana and the two have a disagreement. Young Laura finds herself cursed by a song by the famous “King” and fears a lonely life.

In the final episode, after surprising news, Quincas needs to heal his pain to move forward. Joana has a decision to make and fears the lack of support from the journalist.
