Auctioneer Angus Ashworth is on a mission to help save Yorkshire's stately homes for the nation. He spends the weekend at Newburgh Priory, near York, which boasts Oliver Cromwell's body buried in the attic and serious maintenance problems.
2. Carlton Towers
Auctioneer Angus touches down at Yorkshire's tallest stately home, Carlton Towers, which boasts 126 rooms but Lord Gerald and Lady Emma Fitzalan Howard, are determined to create a new visitor attraction in their cellars, with Angus's help.
3. Scampston Hall
Angus becomes a trainee butler at historic Scampston Hall. He finds a forgotten treasure trove of antiques including a rare Victorian bedroom relic.
4. Thirsk Hall
Auctioneer Angus spends a weekend with the aristocratic owner of Thirsk Hall near York, who won her stately home in a family card game.
5. Birdsall House
Angus visits Birdsall House near Malton, North Yorkshire, to assist the owners in uncovering and auctioning items to help fund the preservation of the historic estate.
6. Constable Burton House
Deep in the Yorkshire Dales, Angus scours a stately home for items that can be sold to help fund an ambitious renovation programme in the grounds.
7. Whitwell Hall
In a country house near York, auctioneer Angus Ashworth discovers a treasure trove of wartime relics owned by family of a Battle of Britain hero.
8. Langton Hall
Angus Ashworth answers a plea for help from a single dad who bought an unfurnished country house as a home for him and his daughter.
