Iron Man learns from Nick Fury that the Avengers has been infiltrated by a Skrull impostor and the team turns against each other.

Thor meets an alien trespasser whose hostility and monstrous appearance belie his unexpected worthiness to wield his hammer, Mjolnir.

SHIELD is apparently attacked by the Hulk, but Banner is accounted for elsewhere at the same time while this Hulk is red in color.

The real Captain America and his fellow prisoners attempt to escape their Skrull prison.
11. Infiltration
A Skrull team posing as The Avengers invades Wakanda with only Ms. Marvel able to help the Black Panther.
12. Secret Invasion
The Skrull Empire initiates their seizure of Earth and the Avengers are hard pressed to thwart it.
13. Along Came a Spider…
With Captain America's reputation now in tatters, the superhero and the similarly maligned Spider-Man find themselves trying to thwart a prisoner transport interception.
14. Behold… The Vision
Captain America and friends travel to Wakanda to repair his shield, unaware that a powerful android is hunting them to capture it among other objectives.
15. Powerless
The Enchantress offers Loki a chance to exact his revenge on Thor and the Avengers for thwarting his conquest of the Nine Realms, and uses a spell to strip Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man of their powers. Now, the helpless heroes must defeat Loki - his soul now in command of a powerful Asgardian weapon known as the Destroyer - without their abilities.
16. Assault on 42
When an Avenger group visits SHIELD's special prison in the Negative Zone, they soon find themselves under siege by a mysterious enemy.
17. Ultron Unlimited
Ultron orders the Vision to lead his android impersonators of the Avengers in capturing the originals.

When Henry Pym is apparently killed, a new vigilante using equipment broadly similar to the scientist's is discovered attacking criminals.

After a month of being dormant for repairs, The Vision finds the world under the control of Tony Stark.
20. Code Red
When there is a sudden exposure of a malignant virus around the Avengers mansion, the Secretary of Defense blames the team and lays siege of the headquarters.
21. Winter Soldier
While dealing with the Red Skull's escape with his Sleeper robots, Captain America also investigates the villain's former henchman who seems disturbingly familiar.
22. The Deadliest Man Alive
With the Hulk apparently rampaging wild, the Red Hulk comes to the Avengers to request to join.
23. New Avengers
When the Avengers are apparently killed by Kang the Conqueror, an automatic function created by Tony Stark calls up several allies up as replacements.
24. Operation Galactic Storm
As warned, the Kree Empire arrive to threaten Earth.
25. Live Kree or Die
The battle against the Kree Empire continues, with Captain Mar-Vell facing an agonizing moral decision in the conflict.
26. Avengers Assemble
The Avengers and his allies face the ultimate test when Galactus, the Devourer of Planets comes to consume Earth.
