1. So it begins... in the West!
After an introduction to the series and the four judges, we saw the good (and bad) auditions from three of the eight Canadian cities. The audition stops for this episode & the number of people who moved onto Toronto are: #1 Vancouver - 13 going to Toronto. #2 Calgary - 17 going to Toronto. #3 Winnipeg - 19 going to Toronto. A total of 49 people got gold tickets to the next round.
2. Movin' out East
The show moves East, for the next three stops of the Canadian Idol tour, and thousands of people audition in Montréal, Halifax and St. John. #4 Montréal - 11 going to Toronto. #5 Halifax - 13 going to Toronto. #6 St. John's - 15 going to Toronto.
3. Makin' the Rounds in Ontario
The final set of auditions see performers in Ottawa and Toronto. #7 Ottawa - 13 going to Toronto. #8 Toronto - 44 going to Toronto.
4. Clay, Ruben and 145 Canadians
After a visit from American Idols Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard, the group of 145 Canadian semi-finalists was gradually narrowed down to a final 30. Toya Alexis and Ryan Malcolm moved into the Top 11, based on Canada's votes. Tyler Done and Kevin Murdock were the other two contestants in the Top 4.

After travelling to Los Vegas to receive some advice from the Queen of Love Songs, Céline Dion, the four remaining Idol hopefuls took each sang a few love songs. Audrey received the fewest votes and was eliminated from the competition.
23. Idol Worship
Tonight the remaining 3 competitors each sang two songs: their own pick - by their personal idol - and one chosen by the judges.
24. Fond Farewell
Billy was eliminated from the competition tonight, putting Gary and Ryan into the final.
