1. The Good Old, Bad Old Days
Ah Teck's mini-mart has been severely hit by the poor economy. He does what he can to drum up business, but it appears the Tan family are in danger of losing their main source of income. In another HDB flat not too far away, Rosnah believes she is victim of discrimination after a job interview.
2. The Thin Breadline
Teck thinks his children are not appreciating their good life when he sees them wasting food and decides it's time for some drastic action. Meanwhile, Rosnah finds herself yo-yo-ing between being happy and sad... until she takes matters into her own hands and gets to the bottom of her feelings, namely, to Yusoff.
3. Your Minimart or Your Life
The Tans adopt desperate measures to keep Teck's minimart alive. He needs an immediate injection of cash and everyone helps out by entering the job market.
4. Friends-In-Law
Dolly is determined to do something about Paul, as she thinks her son may decide to become a monk. Meanwhile, Denise and best friend Wendy literally run into two other law students, Bruce and Dennis.
5. The One
Stand-up comic Selena Tan joins the UOR cast as Anita, the girl of Paul's dreams. While Paul is busy dating, Dolly and Rosnah take over the running of the mini-mart but success gets in the way of their friendship.
6. Who's That Boy
Paul meets Anita, Paul likes Anita, Paul goes out with Anita... or, at least, he tries to. Will they ever find a time to go out on a proper date? Meanwhile, Anita's dad, Bobby, looms large.
7. Mum's Not Cooking
The series continues with a load of happenings
8. Growing Pains
Bobby and Paul do not see eye to eye about the food at a fusion restaurant, and Anita is so fed up with all the bickering she can't keep her mouth shut any longer. Meanwhile, Denise helps an over-protective Dolly realise that she's all grown-up.
9. When Bobby Met Dolly
Bobby lets Dolly in on the secret of preparing siew mai, but Dolly gets upset in the process. Is Dolly going to jeopardise the prospect of securing a daughter-in-law over a few dumplings? Meanwhile, Ronnie faces the dog-eat-dog reality of working life.
10. The Gambler
Bobby teaches Robbie the finer points of gambling, so the latter decides to quit his job to be a professional gambler at Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Paul finds himself in a quandary when Bobby gets him to buy a 4D ticket behind Anita's back.
11. Suspectfully Yours
Dolly suspects Yusof of philandering, Rosnah suspects Ronnie of getting a girl pregnant, Denise suspects Daisy of being unfaithful, Yusof suspects his wife is going crazy. The only person who's clueless is Ronnie, who never suspects he would be embroiled in a messy nest of suspicion.
12. Wishy Washy Woes
Ronnie and Michael are very excited about their new business venture - a 24-hour car wash company. But who's going to do all the work? Meanwhile, Denise is in hot pursuit of Rudolpho, a Spanish exchange student, who's determined to bring out the passion he thinks simmers beneath the surface of repressed Denise.
13. Human Nature
A photo of Teck with a mysterious woman leads Dolly to suspect that he has a mistress in China. Denise is surprised that Ronnie is dating TV journalist Vivian Lee. Convinced that Ronnie must be lying to Vivian, Denise sets out to expose him.

15. Moustaches and Eyebrows
Denise is embarrassed when she fails to catch the hip and happening jargon used around campus. So she throws herself into the world of fashion magazines and shopping. Meanwhile, Ronnie goes into business with Uncle Bobby.
16. Show Me The Money
Ronnie decides to be a nice guy and help Paul out at the minimart. But Paul is infuriated when the store is robbed while Ronnie is on duty. Meanwhile, Rosnah and Dolly stumble upon an abandoned baby.
17. The Other Man
Paul gears up to battle Derrick (model David Yee), a strong contender for Anita's affections and Bobby's ideal candidate for son-in-law. Meanwhile, Daisy discovers the truth about Frank and the other person in his life.
18. Misunderstood
Paul and Anita get into a fight, while things get out of hand when Ronnie learns cooking from Bobby.
19. 100th episode - The Moral of the Story
What would you do to account for you life? The Tan family and their neighbours find themselves in such a quandary when they come face to face with kooky judges and other surreal characters in the realm between life and death. This 100th-episode special features guests Kumar, Chew Chor Meng, Henry Thia, Wee Soon Hui and now-defunct local band, Tokyo Square.
20. Habeas Corpus
Denise meets a brilliant visiting lecturer and feels honoured to be assisting him on his PhD thesis, but their friendship takes a dark turn. Meanwhile, Dolly takes up hairdressing and needs a volunteer subject.
21. Matters of the Heart
Ronnie matchmakes Denise with his boss' son in an attempt to gain his favour. Meanwhile, Paul gets paranoid about his weight and refuses to eat after a customer suffers a heart attack in the mini-mart.
22. Mak Comes to Town
Rosnah and her mother-in-law have never gotten along and finally finds out why. Meanwhile, Dolly is out to prove she can be a good mother-in-law to Anita, and Denise is roped in as the lead singer in an all-girl band.
23. Of Soups and Songs
Denise and Wendy's friendship is tested when the former gets caught up with the girl band, so Wendy feels left out. Meanwhile, Dolly's constantly brewing tonic soups, raising Paul's suspicion that she's prepping Anita up for motherhood.
24. The Test
Dolly and Rosnah think it's time for Paul and Anita to tie the knot. Although Anita is willing, Paul has to face his future father-in-law, Bobby, first.
25. Cold Feet
Having passed the father-in-law test, Paul finally musters enough courage to pop the question to Anita. Meanwhile, Dolly is making big plans that could affect the whole family.
26. To Go or Not to Go
Paul changes his mind about running off to China but Ronnie refuses to let him have his room back. Meanwhile, Anita's upset that Paul is avoiding her, and Denise thinks he nags excessively. Having caused so much unhappiness, Paul decides to leave again.
27. Weekend with Bobby
Paul and Anita have a romantic rendezvous on an idyllic island. Ronnie and Uncle Bobby tag along and find their own romantic entanglements.
28. Mop and Socks
Daisy takes on the role of 'acting Mum' to Denise and Ronnie. Meanwhile, Yusof becomes a shopaholic.
29. The Third Party
Ronnie and Denise think that Anita is the one in control of her relationship with Paul, while Daisy meets Frank's nine-year-old son.
30. Net Gain and Pain
Ronnie starts a cybercafe at home and takes in a 'disciple' while Rosnah gets hooked on shopping on the net.
31. Happiness
Ronnie, the confirmed bachelor, is in for some disappointment when Michael tells him that their days of swinging bachelorhood are over. Meanwhile, Dennis (Wallace Ang) and Denise develop an interest in each other after spending much time together studying.
32. The Runaway Groom
Anita proposes to Paul, which puts Dolly in the mood to prepare for their big day. Meanwhile, Paul gets cold feet and contemplates running away.
33. Eyes Wide Open
Ronnie persuaded Paul to hold a stage party but the latter is uninterested - until he finds out Anita's getting a male stripper for her hen party! Meanwhile, Denise tells Dennis that she can't reciprocate his feelings for her.
34. Give and Teck
Ah Teck finally returns from his Mainland stint, bringing back with him some questionable behavioural traits. Meanwhile, Yusof is reminded of a dear friend who passed away a few years ago.
35. Big Fish, Bigger Fish
Ah Teck and Bobby meet for the first time. But a remark made by the former about Anita upsets Bobby and the pleasant affair turns sour. Meanwhile, Paul discovers a rash in a rather embarrassing part of his anatomy.
36. Oh Happy Day
Ronnie's third law : anything that can go wrong, will. This manifests itself at Paul and Anita's wedding for which Ronnie is the best man.
