6. Team challenge at the Arch of Peace
Milan, "Arch of Peace". This is the location chosen for the first off-site team challenge. The sixteen contestants test themselves with traditional Milanese dishes and will be judged by very discerning guests.
7. A... Hot Mystery Box
The fifteen contestants will face a hot Mystery Box and then a game-based Invention Test.
8. Team challenge in Sardinia
Landed in Sardinia, the thirteen amateur cooks have to satisfy very picky clients. The losing team will face the feared Pressure Test.
9. From Sea to the Mountains
Our amateur cooks are testing themselves with a Mystery Box full of ingredients from the sea and the mountains. The Invention Test is entirely devoted to pastry. Special Guest, the Master Confectioner Iginio Massari.
10. The Golf Club
The "Barlassina Country Club" (one of the oldest and most exclusive clubs in Italy) is the location of the off-site team challenge. Later, members of the losing team face off in an elimination challenge that requires them to prepare the best pesto sauce.
11. Scent of coffee / To each his own
The eleven aspiring chefs return to the MasterChef kitchen. A coffee-themed Mistery Box is waiting for them, a fish-based Invention Test and...
12. A jump back in time
The ten contestants left travel back to the Middle Ages. Using only Medieval cooking equipment, the two teams have to cook a perfect royal banquet. Later, the losing team face off in the Pressure Test.
13. A mistery at MasterChef / Haute Cuisine
In today's Mystery Box challenge, the amateur cooks have to steal an ingredient from another contestant. The famous chef Valentino Marcattilii is the guest of the haute-cuisine themed Invention Test.
14. Culinary Tradition / Fillet challenge
The eight remaining home cooks are brought to Ceglie Messapica to measure themselves with Puglia's culinary traditions.
15. Eight cooking techniques in a Mystery Box
Many surprises in this week Mystery Box: a different cooking technique for each contestant and the ingredients' boxes swap. Star of the invention test: the veal kidneys.
16. High altitude cooking
The Sass Pordoi is the high altitude location of the off-site team challenge. Then, the losing team have to deal with a hard Pressure Test and a final Shoot-out.
17. Take the flight / Veneto territory
The hopefuls cook pigeons. Then they compete in the Invention Test.
18. In the jewel of Ligurian Riviera / Mirroring the chef
The five remaining contestants cook at Portofino's marina. Then, in the Pressure Test, they have to make the best Olivier salad to avoid the Final Duel.
19. Mussels / Traditional cuisine
In their first challenge of the day, the remaining chefs are asked to make a dish with mussels. Later, Lidia Bastianich, Joe's mum, visits the MasterChef kitchen, and puts the contestants' cooking skills to the test.
20. An 'awarded' challenge / Fixing mistakes
L’ultima prova in esterna nel resort dello chef pluristellato Alain Ducas, un Pressure Test “sbagliato” e un Duello riparatore. Last off-site challenge takes place in Alain Ducas' resort.
21. The Semifinal
In the last Mistery Box, the three remaining hopefuls are tasked with creating a dish with foie gras.
22. Winner Revealed
In their final challenge in the kitchen, the two home cooks will conceptualize and prepare the most important three-course meal of their lives. Later, the judges will reveal Italy's next Masterchef, and the deserving home cook will walk away with a book deal and the 100.000 € grand prize. Find out whose culinary dreams will turn into a reality.
