Hanazawa Taro is a policeman with with a body weight of 110 kg and works in a police box in the beautiful city of Kyoto. He has a really sharp perception, which allows him to smoothly deal with the various problems of the local residents as well as the tourists.

Hanazawa Taro is now a detective of a special unit of Kyoto Prefectural Police’s First Investigative Division. Unconcerned about being a novice in investigations, he uses his physique and smile to get close to people and search the inner recesses of their hearts. He quickly identifies discrepancies and solves cases. There were times in his first year as a detective when he failed and had regrets, but he has increasingly honed his acumen and powers of deduction through interactions with all sorts of suspects. He figures out the criminal faster than anyone else and investigates someone from a perspective that no one notices.
