The Filmfare Awards are presented annually by The Times Group to honour both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the Hindi language film industry of India. The Filmfare Awards have been often referred to as the Hindi film industry's equivalent to Oscars.

The 59th Filmfare Awards were held to honor the best films of 2013 from the Hindi-language film industry. The ceremony that was held on 24 January 2014 (telecasted on 26 January 2014) was hosted by Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor.
