A delighted Mai looks forward to helping with bank teller duties at the Kamata Branch until she realizes how cruelly the branch manager treats others.

A young, promising bank employee vanishes without explanation. As Mai and Soma look into the disappearance, the man's mother bursts into the bank.

When crucial salary data for Itami Group employees abruptly disappears before payday, the bank assigns Mai and Soma to the investigation committee.
