2. Episode 2
The team breathe new life into a bugle belonging to a blind veteran, a five-foot matchstick replica of Big Ben and a worn-out pair of toddler’s shoes that tell a tale of resilience.
3. Episode 3
The team set to work reviving a painting from Bermuda, a crumpled terrarium damaged in transit, a precious clay keepsake of a baby’s footprints, and an arctic thermometer.
4. Episode 4
The team repair a microscope that belonged to a pioneering scientist, a pair of boots that protected a prisoner of war during WWII and a bench that needs a complete overhaul.
5. Episode 5
Poet Laureate Simon Armitage brings his treasured harmonium, holding memories of his late father, to be revived. And an early sculpture by an eminent Czech artist is restored.

The team celebrates 75 years of the NHS by reviving items that include a hospital food trolley and a patient diary belonging to writer Michael Rosen.
9. Episode 9
A former professional goalkeeper brings in a 1970s football programme signed by Pele. And a broken guitar that helped a teenager through lockdown is revived.
10. Episode 10
The team fix a 100-year-old handwritten Qur’an passed down four generations of women, and a fun-loving nonagenarian prepares to take his family’s old scooter for a spin.
11. Episode 11
The team fix a velvet poster of a black panther that symbolises power and resilience to its owner and an unusual pair of wooden sandals from Punjab dating back to the 1800s.
12. Episode 12
The team set to work resurrecting an electronic sound processor, a life-size earthenware dog, a medical school certificate and a pair of child’s rugby boots.
13. Episode 13
A portable 1960s record player and a flamboyant pair of 1970s boots are revived. Also lovingly restored, a painting by Helene de Beauvoir, sister of French philosopher Simone.
14. Episode 14
The experts rejuvenate a 1950s hot towel machine for a family of Cypriot barbers, and a ceramic poppy created for the WW1 centenary art installation at the Tower of London.
